If you are modelling an actual signal from a photo the easiest way to estimate the height of the signal is to measure the length of a standard UQ arm (I think it is 5 feet), measure the length (in mm) of the arm on the photo then divide the height of the post on the photo by the length of the arm and multiply by five.
